Character Development Series-Cook a Meal

There are lots and lots of different things you can cook. If you have a little bit of ingenuity, some ingredients, and an oven, stove, or campfire, there is almost no end to the variety of things you can create to eat. That being said, you also have to have some knowledge and skill to cook, you can't just throw a bunch of random ingredients in a pot, turn it on high, forget about it, and hope it comes out tasting halfway decent. Using a recipe can help a lot, but some people refuse to do that, and others will not cook at all without a recipe book by their side. What would your character do if they had to cook a meal? Who would they make it for? What amount of skill do they have in the kitchen? What would they make? Would they use a recipe, or not? Would they just order a pizza? How would their meal turn out?

Comment below, I'd love to hear about your characters and their cooking escapades!

  1. Oh boy! Cannon gets this one, totally. Cannon has the basic skills to survive in a kitchen. He would make a ham sandwich. Cheese, Mayo, Ham, and potato chips smashed between two slices of bread. He'd serve it up with a can of mountain dew. He'd probably make it just for himself. If he had to cook for other people he'd just order pizza and save the havoc.

    1. Ha ha Maddie that's awesome, I love potato chips on sandwiches. I pick Melissa, if it's not microwavable or in some form of easy packaging. She would just skip the meal and to wash it down would probably be water. Girl has to watch her complexion.

    3. Haha! It sounds like neither of your characters are all that well versed in the kitchen. :) I've never tried potato chips inside a sandwich.. hmm, it's an interesting thought.
