Life Update and Blocked Blogspot

Hey Everyone! I have now been gone for two weeks, and I would like to apologize for not posting anything at all in that time here at YWAM. Unfortunately blogspot is blocked here, so I have not been able to post until now. The only reason that I am able to post at all is because of a very kind member of the staff who went out of her way to help me get on blogspot. So a big thanks to Lisa for that! In the next few months I am afraid that all my posts may be a bit sporadic, but I’ll do my best to try and post something every week, and keep you updated. Please don’t be offended if I don’t reply to your comments right away as I will not have much time to do that.

That being said, YWAM DTS (Youth with a Mission, Discipleship Training School) has been going really well for me. The first few days were extremely difficult, being away from my family and in an entirely new environment, but as I got over that hurdle I’ve been having an amazing time. I’ve only been here for two weeks, but I have already learned so much about God and myself, and I’ve made a lot of great friends too.

On Monday we are supposed to find out where we are going on outreach, which is the second part of the DTS. Monday also happens to be my birthday, so I think that’s a pretty nice birthday present. I’m very excited to share with you all where that location will be as soon as I find out, so expect an upcoming post on that. I have been really busy here with class, dance, community responsibilities, local outreaches, homework, bible study, small group, and all sorts of other things, so I haven’t had much time to write, though I have had time to write a couple of short stories. Hopefully I’ll be sharing those with you sometime soon.

Thank you everyone for reading my blog! Hopefully I’ll be able to post more soon. Life gets crazy sometimes, but it’s still good. So though my posts may not be as regularly posted as I would like, I’m still going to keep writing, even as my life continues to change.
