Princess in the Forest

"Princess in the Forest" by Andrea Nan

This piece took forever! I didn't realize when I started it what a challenge the background would be. Anyways though, here it is now. I really like how it turned out, what about you? This piece was inspired by one of my favorite books "The Ordinary Princess" by M.M. Kaye. If you have never read the book, I highly recommend you do so.

    I've never read the book, but that's an awesome picture and I can totally believe that the background took forever.

    Wow that's a detailed background, I have never done one before, I have a hard enough time drawing a person. Great picture, love the colors you used.
